Here are the latest updates on the DIMOSS research effort.
- 28 May, 2024: The live monitoring of a beam has been accomplished through DIMOSS.
- 27 June, 2023: The results of the experimental campaign on a composite wing panel have been published on Sensors. This work represents another step forward for the iFEM technology, with the application of the hybrid shell-beam formulation on a stiffened structure. Take a look at the open-access paper here!
- 28 March, 2023: Two original research efforts titled: “Structural Deformation Reconstruction using the Hybrid Shell-Beam Inverse Finite Element Method: Theory & Numerical Results” and “Structural Deformation Reconstruction using the Hybrid Shell-Beam Inverse Finite Element Method: Experimental Application on an Thin-Walled Stiffened Panel” have been accepted for oral presentations at the 9th International Conference on Computational Methods in Structural Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering (COMPDYN) to be held in Athens, Greece from 12-14 June 2023. Catch us there!
- 21 December 2022: Experimental tests on the composite stiffened wing panel to validate the hybrid iFEM formulation are ongoing.
